Police football tourney concludes in Ganderbal | KNO

Srinagar, January 05 (KNO) : Police football tourney concluded in Ganderbal. The final event was played between Lar FC versus Safapora FC at Sainik school Manasbal in which Lar FC emerged as winners. The tournament was organised by District Police Ganderbal under the Civic Action Programme (CAP) in which eight teams participated. While distributing the trophies among the players ASP Headquarter Ganderbal Shri Utkarsh Duggal said that the endeavour of police is to channelize the energy of youth in positive direction and provide opportunity to youth in sports activities in order to nurture their talent. Youth of the area have appreciated the gesture of District police Ganderbal and thanked SSP Ganderbal Shri Fayaz Ahmad Lone for promoting sports activities in the district.(KNO)
